Five decades.
Three generations.
One legacy of quality.

My uncle, Max, began his masonry career in northeast Ohio in the early 1960's.   My father Gary joined him in 1964, at the age of 16. After working together for six years, the two would successfully lead separate masonry companies for the better part of 50 years.

In 1994, at the age of 14, I began laboring during my summer vacations for both family businesses.  Over the years, I worked side by side with my uncle and father learning old world techniques and completing countless projects including:

Renovation of the Ashtabula Bridge Street fire station

Repair & sealing of the Ashtabula First Baptist Church

Restoration of the Ashtabula Veteran's Memorial

Repair of the First Hungarian E.R. Church (future home of the Conneaut D-Day museum)

and many, many more...

While working on these projects, I realized a rapidly growing need for specific restoration and protection services.  At the same time, specialty cleaners were becoming safer and more effective.   Water, salt and mineral repellent technologies were being perfected.  These three factors are what led me to leave the family business and found Masonry Water Solutions.

Today, in addition to our proud history of traditional masonry, we are on the cutting edge of restoring and protecting brick, block, stone and concrete.  We are poised to lead the next five decades of masonry construction and preservation.

We look forward to meeting your needs and exceeding your expectations.
